​Tour of Slovenia: Laengen ends 10th overall, Consonni wins the points competition.

Vegard Stake Laengen closed the Tour of Slovenia ninth today for UAE Team Emirates. The good performance by the Norwegian allowed him to climb five spots in the overall and close the race 10th at 3-16 minutes from race winner Primoz Roglic (LottoNL-Jumbo), who also won the last time trial stage.

The good ride by Laengen added to the win by Simone Consonni in the first stage. And four days later, today, he took home the points competition and red points jersey.

The Emirates team left the race with a smile. It looks ahead to the next races with hope and faith.
