Ben Swift leads UAE Team Emirates at “Eschborn-Frankfurt Rund um den Finanzplatz”

UAE Team Emirates will attend the world tour race “Eschborn-Frankfurt Rund um den Finanzplatz” (Germany) this Monday, May 1. This race stands for fast wheels’ opportunity but also for brave attackers saw the last climb with 20 to go.

Mario Scirea, sport director: “the main team goal is try to win the race. We have several options in order to get the race. In a massive sprint we can count on the speed of Ben Swift. But we also can count on Ravasi and Petilli’s climber skills. They can take advantage jumping into some breakaways long last climb with 20 km to go. For sure we go there motivated”.

Ben Swift: “I think it is a selective race. With it has been World Tour it should make a harder race, but maybe we will see a larger group come to the finish. I am feeling better and better in Romandie, so I hope to have a good race in Frankfurt and head into my little break with good moral”.
