Hirschi leads squad at Boucles de la Mayenne

UAE Team Emirates kick off the middle part of the calendar with the Boucles de la Mayenne in France which runs over 4 road stages from 25 – 28 May.

 
The team will look towards the speed of Alvaro Hodeg in the sprints while Marc Hirschi will look to continue his great run of form since winning the Tour of Hungary and aim for the General Classification.

Sports Directors Simone Pedrazzini (Swi) and Tomas Gil (Ven) will take charge of the team for the French block of racing.

Hirschi: “Since the win in Hungary I took a few days break and then the focus was on building up for this race. The confidence is high after the performance in Hungary and I think as a team we can take some big results this week in France. It’s a short race with not so many opportunities. The stage 1 prologue will be key and we have guys I think who can be competitive right from the beginning.”
