Igor Arrieta set to step-up with UAE Team Emirates

UAE Team Emirates are finalising their 2024 roster with Igor Arrieta being one of the latest integrants incorporated into the Emirati squad for next season.

Coming through the development structure of the ‘Lizarte’ team in northern Spain, 20 year old Arrieta has spent the past two seasons at the second-tier Kern Pharma squad, with numerous top-5 stage results at races such as the Vuelta Asturias and Tour of the Alps. He signs with the Emirati team until the end of 2026.

It’s one of the best teams in the world and to be there in that group of top riders with the best staff and equipment is something I’m really happy about and looking forward to. I am ready to give my maximum to grow in the team over the coming years.”
