Molano repeats top-5 in Langkawi sprint
Colombian just short of podium in Alor Setar
Sebastian Molano took 4th place on Stage 6 in a bunch sprint on the flat run-in from George Town to Alor Setar (120.4km) at the Tour of Langkawi today.
Wet conditions again marked the stage with slippery roads proving for a nail biting final few kilometres.
Ryan Gibbons and Molano placed themselves at the head of the peloton with Molano latching on to the Deceuninck-Alpecin train and launching an early sprint but was outpaced on the run-in to the line by stage winner Erlend Blikra (Uno-X).
Stage 7 tomorrow will take the riders from Kuah to the hilltop finish at Gunung Raya (90.8km) for the shortest stage of the race.
