Trentin“In yesterday’s stage I had suffered a lot from the heat and I had paid for the efforts made on Friday in the Aargau GP. Today, however, I was better and was able to face the demanding second part of the race well.
On the last ascent we traveled at a high pace, I held up well and climbed the hill with a limited margin from the head of the group, managing to get back on the downhill.
We moved well up to the finish line, my teammates did a great job, but Leknessund was the strongest today.
In the sprint of the group I started a little behind but with good legs I still took 5th place: tomorrow it can go better “.
