Second place in the teams ranking

Laengen 9th in the final GC

Laengen obtained the final 9th place in the GC and UAE Team Emirates is second in the final teams ranking of the Colorado Classic.

 

The 4th and final stage (10 laps of a 12 km circuit in Denver, photo Bettini) was won by Mihkel Raim at the end of a massive sprint in which Ravasi was 18th and Conti was 19th.
Nothing changed in the GC: Laengen is 9th at 2’21” from the winner Senni.
Petilli is 11th and Ravasi 12th, they contribute to the 2nd place of the UAE Team Emirates in the teams classification.

 

Sports director Scirea: “We were pretty competitive in the most demanding stages, we raced in an aggressive way and I feel we gave a good exposure to our sponsors.
Laengen defended his place in the general classification top 10.
Having raced in altitude will help our riders to approach their next appointments“.
