Fabio Aru
: “Last year my teammates spoke very highly of this race and since then I have been keen to come and compete here. We came here almost two weeks in advance to get used to the altitude and everything has been great since we arrived. I’ve had a complicated couple of seasons but now I’m feeling good and fresh so I’m excited to get the season started. Obviously there is a big Colombian influence in the team and we are all motivated to do a good race.”
