UAE Team Emirates for Coppi e Bartoli

Having tasted success in the Tour de France with the stage win and yellow jersey of Alexander Kristoff, UAE will aim to build on their 20 victories season in Italy at the five day Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali (2.1) which runs from 1-4 September.

Sports Directors Bruno Vicino (Ita) and Paolo Tiralongo (Ita) will lead the 6 man team :

Diego Ulissi (Ita)
Edward Ravasi (Ita)
Sergio Henao (Col)
Alessandro Covi (Ita)

The race will attract 10 World Tour teams this year and leading the line for UAE will be veteran Diego Ulissi with the in-form Valerio Conti also expected to shine.

 
Diego Ulissi: “Personally I’m pleased with my performance since the restart, but hungry to get that first win. I had a lot of racing up until the European Championships so have had a few days break now and will build up towards the next part of the season. Obviously we will have one eye on the guys at the Tour de France but we hope to give the team something to cheer about in Italy also.”
