UAE Team Emirates for the Criterium du Dauphiné

McNulty returns to lead strong squad

UAE Team Emirates will set their sights on the Criterium du Dauphiné in France which runs from the 5-12 June in Southern France.

The race traditionally serves as a preparation race for the Tour de France, but the Emirati will be there in search of glory with Brandon McNulty in the hunt for the GC and Sebastian Molano in the sprints, with the Colombian hoping to build on his recent victory on French soil at the Boucles de la Mayenne.

McNulty : “Since the beginning of the year the Dauphiné has always been a goal.
I’ve had a good build up in training for this race, the level will be very high but we’re going in with a strong team and we’ll aim to be active on each stage.

I had a crash in Liege which set me back a bit and knocked me a bit for Romandie where I also came down with bronchitis.

But I’m back to full health now and all things considered it’s been a pretty amazing season so far so I’m really looking forward to kicking-off this second half.

The team for the Dauphiné will be overseen by Team Manager Joxean Matxin Fernandez (Spa) who will be joined by Sports Directors Marco Marzano (Ita) and John Wakefield (RSA).
