UAE Team Emirates set for Eschborn-Frankfurt & Italian Autumn Classics

As the Grand Tours come to an end, an exciting block of racing begins the Autumn calendar with a host of Italian one-day classics including Giro della Toscana – Memorial Alfredo Martini [1.1] on 15-Sept, Coppa Sabatini – Gran Premio città di Peccioli [1.Pro], Memorial Marco Pantani [1.1] – 18-Sept, and the Trofeo Matteotti [1.1] on 19-Sept.

Diego Ulissi: “It’s a period of the season I really enjoy. These are races where I’ve had success in the past and where I think we can do really well with the riders we have. The condition is good after the European Champs and we are extremely motivated for this last part of the calendar which we want to finish on high.”

 
The team will also compete in Germany for the World Tour level Eschborn-Frankfurt classic, where Alexander Kristoff will hope to defend the crown he won on four occasions in 2014 and between 2016 – 2018.

Alexander Kristoff: “For me Eschborn-Frankfurt has always been a special race as I’ve won it many times and lived many great moments there. German roads have been good to us over the last few weeks with the wins in the Deutschland Tour also so we hope to continue that winning streak on Sunday.”
