Al-Ali & Almutaiwei take home gold & silver for UAE at Asian Championships

Emirati cyclists Abdulla Jasim Al-Ali and Mohammad Almutaiwei came first and second respectively in the Under-23 road race on Monday at the 43d Asian Road Cycling Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The young duo who form part of the UAE Team Emirates Gen Z team, brought home the gold and silver medals in what was a great outing at a major championship.

The Asian Cycling Championships is an annual continental cycling event for road bicycle racing and track cycling since 1963, exclusively for Asian cyclists selected by the national governing body (member nations of the Asian Cycling Confederation).
