BinckBank Tour: Sagan won stage 1, Troia 16th
In the stage 2, the riders will face an individual TT on short distance
Peter Sagan won the 1st stage of the BinckBank Tour, preceding for very few centimeters Bauhaus in the final sprint which took place in Venray.
The sprinters battled in a bunch sprint after that the peloton (photo Bettini) had neutralized the four riders breakaway which had led the race for most part of the course.
Troia was the first rider from UAE Team Emirates in the stage: he obtained the 16th place.
