Felix Großschartner adds to UAE Team Emirates-XRG’s growing haul of national titles
32-year-old claims his fourth career victory in the Austrian National Time Trial Championships, taking UAE Team Emirates-XRG to 48 wins for the season
The national titles just keep coming for UAE Team Emirates-XRG, with Felix Großschartner the latest to take his national scalp. The 32-year-old won the Austrian National Time Trial Championships on Saturday, taking him to four career titles in the discipline against the clock.
For Großschartner, the victory is his third in succession, and is yet more evidence of the consistency that has earned his reputation as one of the Emirati squad’s most dependable riders.
Raced across a 23.8km-long out-and-back course in Weißenbachtal, the Austrian Championships saw the country’s best time trialists go head to head. As Großschartner claimed the crown with a time of 27 minutes and 6 seconds, his compatriots Rainer Kepplinger (Bahrain Victorious) and Adrian Stieger (Schwingshandl Intralogistics) finished second and third, respectively.
Großschartner’s latest win takes UAE Team Emirates-XRG to 48 victories for the 2026 campaign, with the Austrian’s victory coming hot on the heels of the national titles of Jan Christen, Nils Politt, and António Morgado.
