Marco Frigo joins UAE Team Emirates-XRG on two-year deal

UAE Team Emirates-XRG are pleased to announce the signing of Marco Frigo, who will join the team from the beginning of the 2027 season on a two-year contract running through to the end of 2028.

The Italian arrives after four seasons in the professional ranks, during which he has established himself as a strong and versatile rider capable of performing across a variety of terrain.

Frigo has demonstrated his qualities both in support of his teammates and when given the opportunity to race for his own results. The Bassano del Grappa native took his first professional victory in 2025 with a solo stage win at the Tour of the Alps and completed his first Tour de France earlier this summer.

The move represents the next step in the 26-year-old’s career, with Frigo joining the Emirati squad as he looks to continue his development and contribute to the team’s ambitions across stage races, Grand Tours and one-day classics.
