Mitsubishi Italia confirms its commitment as the official supplier of team cars for UAE Team Emirates

The consolidated collaboration between UAE Team Emirates e Mitsubishi Motors Italia has been renewed and expanded for the 2018 season.

Mitsubishi Motors Italia is the official supplier of the cars used by the Emirati formation, a team that can count on the competitive potential of star riders like Italian Champion Fabio Aru, European Champion Alexander Kristoff, the winner of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege and Giro di Lombardia Daniele Martin, former World Champion Rui Costa, track cycling World Champion Filippo Ganna and winner of multiple stages in the Giro d’Italia Diego Ulissi.

In the 2018 cycling season, Team Emirates will use three models to support their needs as they compete in the most important bicycle races in the world. The team is also attentive to its image and wants to reflect the values that are tightly bound to cycling. For its team flagship car and support vehicles, UAE Team Emirates will be supplied with a fleet made up the latest models of the Mitsubishi Outlander and Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (new SUV coupé) vehicles.
To transport riders to media events or awards ceremonies and for hospitality initiatives and VIP guests, the team will use the Outlander Phev, the electric plug-in hybrid SUV. Through this choice, Mitsubishi Motors Italia and the Emirati team have decided to join cycling with a type of vehicle inspired by eco-sustainable mobility.
