Rui Costa holds top-5 in Oman, Molano 5th in Almeria

Rui Costa continued his trademark consistency with 4th place on the undulating Stage 4 of the Tour of Oman from from Al Sifah to Mucat (119.5km).

 
Stage honours went to Fausto Masnada (Quick Step Alpha Vinyl) who went clear on the final descent. Costa covered attacks from the race leader Anthon Charmig (Uno-X) in the closing kilometres as he looks towards tomorrow’s Queen stage from Samail to Jabal Al Akhdhar (150.5km) which finishes on the brutal slope of Green Mountain (6km at 9.9%).

 
At the Vuelta Almeria Sebastian Molano took 5th place in a hectic bunch gallop won by Alexander Kristoff (Intermarche-Wanty).
