With the Tour de France just around the corner, UAE Team Emirates will head to Slovenia to take part in the Tour of Slovenia from 12-16 June.
The team will be led by home favourite Domen Novak who will serve as road captain on terrain he knows well. The team takes a young but strong squad who will aim to challenge for the race title to add to the teams impressive tally of 38 victories so far this season.
Novak: “I’m happy and excited to be able to race the Tour of Slovenia, my home race in front of family and friends. I’ve had a bit of time at home since the Giro and feeling good on the bike so let’s see what we can do. It’s a race the team has performed very well at in the past and we’ll try to continue that trend this year hopefully. ”
The team will be guided by the Sports Director duo of Marco Marcato (Ita) and Tomas Gil (Ven).
