UAE Team Emirates-XRG secure contract extensions for Adam Yates and Felix Großschartner

Yates commits until 2028, Großschartner until 2027

UAE Team Emirates-XRG is pleased to announce the contract renewals of two of its senior riders, Adam Yates and Felix Großschartner, who will continue with the team for the coming seasons. Yates has signed a three-year extension, keeping him with the squad through 2028, while Großschartner has agreed to a two-year deal, extending his tenure through 2027.

The renewals mark a commitment to experience, depth, and leadership while continuing to foster the youth within the UAE Team Emirates-XRG roster, as the team enjoys a successful 2025 season thus far and looks ahead to further Grand Tour and WorldTour ambitions.

Adam Yates, who joined the team in 2023, has proven himself as a consistent GC rider and a key mountain domestique, including a string of notable performances at the Tour de France including a stage win, podium spot in Paris and a stint in the yellow jersey.

It’s a great feeling to extend my time with UAE Team Emirates-XRG,” said Adam Yates. “I’ve felt at home here from day one. The team environment, support staff, and ambition all align perfectly with where I want to be in my career. I’m excited for what the next few years will bring.

Felix Großschartner, a reliable climber and time trialist, has been an important part of the team’s Grand Tour and stage race strategy, offering strength in the mountains and crucial support across a range of terrains.

Renewing with UAE Team Emirates-XRG was an easy decision,” said Großschartner. “I’ve developed a lot here, both as a rider and a teammate, and I believe we have even more to achieve together. I’m proud to be part of such a motivated and forward-thinking group.”
