Final season fixtures at Guangxi and Veneto Classics

Team looks to build on 54 win tally in 2023

UAE Team Emirates will bring the curtain down on their 2023 campaign at the Tour of Guangxi (12-17 Oct) and a double-header of races in Italy with the Giro del Veneto (11 Oct) and the Veneto Classic (15 Oct).

The team returns to China for the first time since 2019 with the World Tour event returning to the calendar after a long absence. Tim Wellens, who won the inaugural edition of the race in 2017 will lead the teams overall ambitions while Sebastian Molano will aim for wins in the sprints.

Tim Wellens : “ I have great memories of this race since my victory in 2017 and I’m excited to be back. Stage 4 should be the decisive day for GC but we’ll also be looking for results in the sprints with Molano. We have a balanced team for the sprints and also the climbs so we will aim to be competitive all week.”

In Veneto, Marc Hirschi will aim to continue his dazzling finish to the year as he spearheads a strong team for both races.

The teams in Veneto will be overseen by Sports Directors Fabio Baldato (Ita) and Marco Marcato (Ita), while Simone Pedrazzini (Swi) and Yousif Mirza (UAE) will guide the squad in Guangxi.
