Kump 7th in the opening stage
UAE Team Emirates's Slovenian rider entered in the top 10; tomorrow the last stage
Steve Cummings (Team Dimension Data) won the 1st stage of the Giro della Toscana, 181,8 km with start and arrival in Pontedera.
British rider preceded Bernal, Backaert and Nibali: they had escaped from the peloton at 30 km to the arrival.
UAE Team Emirates (photo Bettini) obtained a result in the top 10 thanks to Kump, who sprinted in the bunch of the peloton crossing the finish line in 7th position.
The second and last stage of the Giro della Toscana will start from Lajatico and will end in Volterra (165,1 km).
